Fantastic food. Cant wait to return!
In my top two favourite restaurants in Kamloops... I love the atmosphere; the place is very bright and open. I also of course think the food is amazing. The veggie udon soup is my favourite.
This place is great! I'm so happy they have a sushi menu. The service is awesome.
I got the yakisoba meal for dinner and it was incredibly tasty! Also the takoyaki was really yummy too. Will definitely eat here again. Good arrived quickly & was super fresh
Wonderful restaurant with home made sauces. Try the king sized cutlet if you have the room. There are also other traditional Korean dishes to choose from on the menu. The restaurant does get busy so book ahead or arrive early.
Today was my first time trying Jacob's Noodle. The girls at the Kamloops Chamber introduced me to it. They wanted the perfect setting for Deb's retirement lunch. What a lively little restaurant. Good food. Nice atmosphere. I had Lunch special D - grilled chicken... as you see in my picture. More than enough food. Everyone had something different and they all looked delicious. I look forward to taking my husband here. I know he will love it!
Excellent Japanese & Korean food and very friendly staff!
Great service and delicious food.I had the pork cutlet udon and it was beautiful in presentation. For coming during a busy dinner rush I never once felt forgotten and everyone I interacted with was positive and helpful.
Great little restaurant with proper covid-19 protocols - staff wore mask, gloves, and had sanitizers upon entrance. The seats/tables were quite far apart and it looked very clean. There were only 2 other customers when we got there but it was understandable; it was either that we were having lunch around 2pm or not many people are eating out just yet.
Quick lunch - spicy seafood noodles & chicken cutlet noodles with Luisa & deep fried roll. Presentation was good, taste acceptable. Friendly staffs & nice deco. Almost full on Family Fay lunch.
Always great service and the food is amazing! Great place for smaller groups

Great food and you get a good amount for the price! Loved it. The only issue I head was I got the highest spice level but didn't find it very spicy. The place is decent but pretty typical looking, although comfy not too cramped.
I lived in Korea. This is top notch east Asian fusion. Bravo!
It was great! Nice service, good menu. Enjoyed the ramen and the gyoza was delicious!
Super friendly and cheap. Great food
Lovely place and foods~ the staff is friendly ~~ always put on his smile ~~And the udon was super delicious! I love it so much ~~ winter is coming, try it and you will love it!
One of my go to places in Kamloops! The aesthetic of the place itself is cool, with a bar and an open, well-lit area. Staff are so friendly and efficient, and the food is always fresh and delicious. As someone who doesn't eat meat I never feel like I'm without options when I come here (I eat seafood). This place is a gem in Kamloops and you won't find somewhere else like it nearby.
Love the food! Sevice is wonderful, catered a mid sized group with no issue. Had the chicken ramen and some sushi rolls, everything is delicious!
Good homemade chicken cutlet. Spicy ramen had a good spice to it and the prices there are great. Good service too. Would definitely go back.
Great service, friendly staff and really good food. Loved how hot everything was.. sizzling platters of chicken teriyaki and Bibimbap, freshly friend tofu and goyza and hot chicken cutlet and udon soup. Everyone in our family left stuffed. I highly recommend coming here, and if you're looking for a meal to warm you up I highly recommend the Bibimbap it warms your belly up! I also appreciated the relaxing music and the welcoming atmosphere a wonderful place grab a good meal and sit.
This place is AMAZING. Have gone a few times now, always trying something new every time and all have been excellent. The Chicken Cutlet Ramyun a must have. The noodles are always done to perfection and the the cutlets have a beautiful crunchy exterior while the meat on the inside is tender and juicy. Croquettes are top on my list as well. Would highly recommend this place! Also the staff are extremely friendly and polite!
Finally decided to try Jacob’s. Delicious teriyaki! We tried the chicken and the pork cutlet - both were great. Super friendly service and great prices too! The food took a bit of time to arrive but it was a Friday night and the restaurant was busy. When the food did come it was steaming hot and delicious. We will definitely be back.
Very good fired pork. We tried the Korean hot pot, good seasoning.
Cute and bustling little restaurant. I had a seafood ramen bowl and it was not as flavorful as I would have hoped for. My appetizers were great but, that soup really let me down.
Such an amazingly wonderful place with the friendliest staff. They are genuinely nice!
Delicious soups and cheap lunch combos!! Quick food! Lots of sushi options now which is great! Love this place!
Super comfort food ❤️service was friendly and they served food pretty fast. White spicy seafood udon. My friend got a spicy Korean style noodle was great too!
Nice food
Great food and atmosphere! Prices reasonable.
Food is ok. Not bad in this townOpen by Korean serving JP food. Pork cutlet was ok.Beef rice bowl was also goodJust it lack of the real JP style
An average Japanese/Korean restaurant. Pork and chicken cutlet is juicy and ok. But yakisoba and miso soup are too salty. But you shouldn’t expect too much as it is in a small town.
I ordered the pork cutlet udon combo. The presentation of the dish was quite good as was the flavours. I did like the concept of the combo but the breading on the pork cutlet did not work with the udon broth...too soggy too quickly. I think it would have worked better to have the cutlet on the side.
Fast and delicious! We had the chicken combo, pork combo and a bowl of mild rayman noodles.
Amazing service and amazing food. This is most definitely somewhere you'll want to try at least once while you're in Kamloops. They have a variety of dishes and never miss a chance to impress. A great little hidden gem for Kamloops
Really yummy chicken cutlet don for $12.50. It was a great portion size. They seem really busy with Skip the Dishes orders so if you are in a hurry at dinner time be aware. They accept credit cards and have a dine in option as of the end of June 2020.
One of my favourite restaurants ever! We are so lucky to have such a good asian cutlet/noodle shop in our town. The sauces they serve with the cutket are to die for.I like the largest order of the classic cutlet (King cutlet), with double sauce because the sauce is amazing (carrot, ginger, sesame, apple?, etc). The cheese lovers cutlet is another I do often as it is like pork culet meets mozza sticks, absolutely amazing and of course very indulgent.Jacob's is a superb restaraunts and I highly suggest visiting them. Get a cutlet, it sounds plain and boring but trust me, it is wonderful.
Yummy, fast lunch, nice variety, love the crunchy cutlets and Ramyun, Gorgeous building (for Kamloops standards...) and nice service and staff. Always busy for lunch, but pretty quick turnaround.
Delicious food, good portions, friendly staff and not too bad on the wallet.
Jacob's is Awesome!! I might be Biased because I am Asian.. .okay Half Asian so only Half Biased. This Place is a Must on our list of Place to Eat when in the Loops. Family and I like the Cutlet's and Don Bowl's. Very Tasty!
"Jacob's"...... who would have thought awesome sushi!!!! Great little place. Covid has reduced the capacity but they are coping very well and the take-out was absolutely booming while we were there.Very fair portions and great food. The two of us ate our fill, with a bottle of sake, for $64 plus tip. Worth your time.
$$ Had the California roll combo for lunch, it's the perfect amount of food. Service was very good and tea was solid. Great decor as well. Lots of selection on the menu, something for everyone.
Fantastic dinner! I had the fried pork Udon and I asked them to make it hot. They did just that. I was sweating but it was so good. My buddy had a pork ramen and he said it was very good as well. Sure wish we had something this good back in Michigan. This is now a must have when we are back in Kamloops. Friendly staff, good service and great good and very reasonable prices.
Perhaps my favourite restaurant in Kamloops! House-made sauces and DIY crushed sesame with a pestle and mortar. Normal cutlet meals come with two cutlets and the jumbo one comes with THREE!! just a warning haha I was not ready to down 3 cutlets. The pork cutlet was amazing though, the deep fry is perfect and the breading and meat are not greasy and covered in oil. Bibimbap is also up to standard!
Never disappointed when coming here, very affordable, great food, great service, comfy atmosphere and quick.
Stopped in on my way through town. Liked the atmosphere and food was great! My short visit prevented me from getting a full experience. If I'm ever back, I would review it again!
We ended up at this place after a friend insisted we try it. I'm so happy we did! The food was fast and delicious and tasted homemade. We had the chicken cutlet combo and I would definitely order it again. The decor is modern and comfortable.
DeliciousHuge portionCheapVery nice service
Best cutlets around. Friendly, fresh and always hot and so good.
